This project has special meaning to me as it was "commissioned" for my first child, Dylan August Ruscher. I had the great pleasure of building these pieces with my father, first time grandfather, Richard A. Ruscher over the course of about 6 Weekend (about 200 man hours). Dovetail Drawer Boxes are of soft maple, and feature Soft close concealed ball bearing slides. Frames are of solid flat sawn white ash, while panels & drawer fronts are sequenced flat sawn curly ash with quatersawn curly ash diamond matched inlays. Even the pulls have curly ash inset panels... I The crib has been designed to function first as a crib, then as a todler bed, and finally as head and footboard for a full size bed.
